The packages offer customers value over pay-per-use rates and is suited for vacationers or anyone planning a short stay in either country. The four calling options include 50 minutes of talk time for USD 24.99 per month, 125 minutes of talk time for USD 49.99 per month, 275 minutes of talk time for USD 99.99 per month and 800 minutes of talk time for USD 199.99 per month. AT&T also offers several discount roaming packages that provide international messaging and data services abroad. Packages include AT&T Global Messaging packages which allow travellers to share their experiences using text, picture, video and instant messaging for one low monthly rate. The second package includes AT&T Data Global Add-On packages that allow using smartphone, tablet or laptop to check e-mail, surf the internet, update social networking sites or access maps and directions.
